Job Description

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLHH is partnering with a company in the Issaquah, WA area to search for a temporary to hire Accountant. This role will be responsible for supporting core accounting functions, including financial reporting, internal controls, intercompany activity, disbursements, and reconciliations. This role operates with a high level of independence, ensuring accurate transaction recording, maintaining the general ledger, and identifying and resolving accounting issues as they arise. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting and at least three years of previous work experience. This position offers a hybrid work schedule after training and an ability to be a part of a stable, friendly team. Responsibilities Maintain, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts; support the preparation of monthly and quarterly consolidated financial statements. Participate in the month-end close process to deliver timely and accurate financial results in accordance with GAAP and internal accounting policies. Investigate variances by validating data, resolving discrepancies, and gathering supporting documentation. Prepare, review, and validate recurring and ad hoc financial reports. Support the annual external audit by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries. Generate standard and customized financial reporting as requested. Assist with special projects and additional accounting responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline. At least three years of experience in financial reporting, general ledger accounting, or internal controls. Experience in public accounting or a high-volume, fast-growing organization is a plus. Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams. Advanced Excel and spreadsheet analysis skills. Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). High attention to accuracy and detail with strong analytical capabilities. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently in a dynamic environment. Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated problem-solving, judgment, and time management abilities.
Pay Details:
