Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team. In this vital role, you will manage core accounting functions, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and support the organization's financial health. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, excellent data entry abilities, and a passion for maintaining accurate financial records. This is a part-time position that is mostly remote but may require a weekly in person meeting once a week.

•Experience in the Manufacturing/Industrial Industry and any Law Practices are highly encouraged to apply. Duties Perform bookkeeping duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, using QuickBooks Online Reconcile balance sheets and perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy across all financial statements. Manage financial data entry Support budgeting processes by analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting with variance analysis. Handle confidential information with integrity, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards. Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation related to governmental accounting standards or public accounting requirements. Bi-Weekly payroll using ADP Experience Proven accounting or bookkeeping experience with a strong understanding of financial concepts such as debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger accounting. Hands-on experience working with multiple financial software platforms including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft or similar systems. Demonstrated ability to perform balance sheet reconciliation and account reconciliation accurately in a fast-paced environment. Strong numeracy skills combined with excellent attention to detail for data entry and spreadsheet management. Experience in public accounting or corporate accounting roles is preferred but not required; a background in financial analysis or credit assessment is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly while managing multiple priorities efficiently. Pay:

$35.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
