AP Staff Accountant Location:
Calabasas, CA - Hybrid (3 days onsite, Tues-Thurs)
Pay:
$35 - $40 / hour

THis role is eligible for medical, dental and vision benefits. Growing, venture-backed technology company is seeking an AP Staff Accountant to support Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and month-end close. Responsibilities Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and vendor relationships. Process invoices, payments, and reconciliations. Support month-end close, journal entries, and GL accounting . Perform bank and credit card reconciliations. Research and resolve accounting discrepancies. Support GAAP reporting, SOPs, and process improvements. Help bring additional accounting functions in-house and leverage automation/AI tools . Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. AP and GL accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close . Bank and credit card reconciliation experience. Strong Excel and analytical skills. QuickBooks Enterprise experience preferred. Comfortable with technology, automation, and learning new systems. Self-starter with strong communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
