We operate in a regulated industry where FDCPA and CFPB compliance, accuracy, and client trust are central to the business. Our accounting function supports a multi-entity corporate structure, client trust and escrow accounting, and both US based and offshore operations. About the Role We are hiring an experienced CPA to own day to day client accounting. You will be the initial point of contact for client accounting and remittance questions, reconcile client remittances and fees, provide second-level review and release of outgoing payments, and own client facing financial reporting and deliverable deadlines. You will also play a key role in two major initiatives: our migration from QuickBooks to an ERP level accounting solution and the automation of accounting processes alongside our development team. You will work closely with our internal accounting staff and offshore support team, with direct exposure to the Executive Director and ownership. This role has real influence over how our accounting function scales.

Payment Release Review:
Provide independent second-level review and release of outgoing payments to clients and vendors initiated by internal staff, maintaining two-person control over all disbursements.
