Greenwich, CT Schedule:
Hybrid | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM Position Overview Our client, a growing financial services organization, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career accounting professional looking to gain hands-on experience and grow within a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable Prepare and process journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger records Assist with bank and account reconciliations Support month-end and year-end close activities Help prepare financial reports and supporting schedules Assist with researching and resolving discrepancies Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation Support senior accounting staff with ad hoc projects and reporting as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred 0–2 years of accounting or finance experience; internships are a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Eagerness to learn and grow within an accounting and finance career EB-8794304830
