INVER GROVE, Minnesota (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
We are supporting a finance shared services opportunity focused on month-end close, financial reporting, and the upkeep of general ledger activities. Our team is looking for a detail-oriented professional who can bring strong analytical thinking, sound technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage priorities effectively.
Responsibilities:
Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities to support accurate financial statements and reports. Reconcile, analyze, and review accounts during preparation for the month-end close process. Prepare journal entries, evaluate accounting classifications, and support accruals, allocations, and other complex entries. Assist with audits, close activities, internal controls, administrative processes, and special projects as needed.
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Proficiency with MS Word and Excel. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Experience with SAP systems or a similar large ERP system. Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to manipulate spreadsheets, create pivot tables, and summarize data from multiple sources.
