Part -Time About the Firm We are a boutique accounting firm dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality tax, accounting, and advisory services to individuals and small businesses. We pride ourselves on building strong client relationships through integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail. We're growing and looking for an experienced Accountant who can manage complex accounting work, assist with client engagements, and support our team during busy seasons. The position will begin as part-time with growth to full-time. MUST take a highly proactive approach to jump in, learn new things, help others and take joy in team results instead of individual accomplishments. Position is in person with the option of a hybrid schedule and will include some offsite work at client locations. Key Responsibilities- Manage bookkeeping and accounting functions for multiple clients
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns (federal and state)
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with client advisory projects, budgeting, and cash flow analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable tax regulations
- Communicate directly with clients regarding accounting and tax questions
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial statements.
- Client care to maintain an exceptional client relationship.
- Has the technical expertise to perform your job duties.
- Communicates effectively with team members and clients.
- Works closely with the company president and upper management
- Upholds the values of the firm. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CPA candidate preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax principles
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and Desktop) and Excel
- Experience with tax software such as Drake, UltraTax, or ProSeries a plus
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities independently

Pay:
