Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general accounting principles and hands-on expertise with NetSuite ERP. This role is integral to maintaining the integrity of our financial records, supporting month-end closing, and driving process improvements across the accounting function. The Senior Accountant will work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and leadership teams to deliver accurate and timely financial information. Key Responsibilities General Accounting & Month-End Close Own the full month-end, quarter end and year-end close process, prepare and post journal entries, perform balance sheet and income statement account recons, maintain the general ledger and ensure all accounts are properly classified and ensure data completeness. Reconciliations & General Ledger Manage reconciliations on a regular basis - bank, intercompany, investments, fixed assets, capital leases, vendor rebates, debt, prepaids, accruals, other assets, other liabilities, etc. Fixed assets and Inventory Maintain Fixed Assets register, propose new assets and post monthly depreciation entries in NetSuite FA Module, conduct periodic recon on NetSuite asset ledger and support inventory accounting and reconciliation for product-based business units. Analysis and forecasting Create, maintain and financials models, forecasts and budgets. This involves analyzing financial data, developing models, and creating reports that helps in decision making. Audit, compliance and internal controls Prepare schedules, support documentation, ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies, assist with audit inquiries and help with preparation of tax schedules. Process improvement and special project Identify and implement automation opportunities within NetSuite to reduce manual effort and increase accuracy, participate in ERP implementation projects, module expansions or system migrations, support with Budget vs Actual variance analysis as needed and assist the Controller with ad hoc financials analysis and special projects. Experience & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is required 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on NetSuite experience is required Strong working knowledge of US GAAP including ASC 842 (Leases) is required CPA certification is preferred but not required. Proven experience owning the full month-end close cycle. Experience with intercompany accounting in NetSuite is required. Experience in a high-growth startup or technology company Required Skills Advanced NetSuite user Advanced Microsoft Excel user (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Financials modeling). Capable of working with limited training and supervision Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and ability to interpret complex financial data. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ease collaborating across teams. Capable of managing priorities and deadlines effectively. Continuous improvement mindset with constantly looking for a way to streamline processes and leverage technology.
