Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist with external audit and financial reporting activities, including compiling audit support, performing financial statement tie-outs, and updating financial statement footnotes.
- Prepare reconciliations and roll-forwards for assigned income statement and balance sheet accounts, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and related journal entries, investigating reconciling items and ensuring cash activity is accurately recorded in the general ledger.
- Maintain rooftop rent schedules by onboarding new projects, updating lease terms, rent escalations, amendments, and ensuring lease records remain accurate and current.
- Prepare and maintain forecasts of lease payment obligations by analyzing executed lease agreements, anticipated project in-service dates, and contractual payment terms to support budgeting and cash flow planning. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited four-year college or university.
- 3+ years of accounting experience; CPA is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to be a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is preferred.
