Overview This is a hybrid role based out of Malvern, PA (3 days in office) CubeSmart is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join the Accounting and Finance team at its Malvern, PA headquarters. The Senior Corporate Accountant will report to the Director, Corporate Accounting and will have a thorough understand of generally accepted accounting principles as well as experience with SEC Filings.

Responsibilities The ideal candidate will have a background in public accounting and/or experience working within the accounting function at a mid-sized publicly traded company. Additionally, this individual will have advanced problem-solving capabilities, demonstrate attention to detail, have strong interpersonal and communication skills and accept ownership for meeting deadlines. Maintaining the corporate general ledger in accordance with US GAAP, which includes preparing/reviewing journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations; Analyzing monthly/quarterly/annual financial results in advance of distribution to internal and external stakeholders; Supporting the compilation and review of annual budget information; Producing clear and organized workpapers that adequately support the Company's SEC filings and the internal/external audit process; Assisting in the review of reports required to be filed with the SEC, including reports on Form 10-Q and 10-K and other filings from time to time; Assisting with maintaining and documenting compliance with internal control over financial reporting in accordance with SOX 404 standards; Evaluating accounting processes to identify opportunities for change and lead continuous improvement initiatives; Interacting and coordinating with personnel throughout the Company; Researching and documenting the analysis of new accounting and reporting requirements as needed; Performing cross-functional projects as needed.
