- Cash flow analysis
- Profitability forecasting
- Monthly and quarterly contract reporting (EEO, Sales)
- Serve as a backup to HR
- Form Bs- (Annual state reporting)
- Price modeling for bids
- Project tracking to ensure project profitability
- Oversee the payroll process
- Risk management
- Work closely with finance personnel to maintain and update the billing sheet with staff hours, rates, expenses, and other related information for processing of monthly billing. General Accounting Responsibilities
- Inputting data and invoicing into QB
- Manage A/P and A/R
- Process subcontractor runs for leadership approval
- Prepare and submit invoices to clients
- Gather and enter timesheets for monthly billing and verify expense information for consultants.
- Verify subcontractor invoices against timesheets for accuracy. Requests remediation as necessary.
- Understand client portals and how money flows, and look for ways to improve it.
- Product quotes for clients Must-Have Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must have:
- 5+ years in a fast-paced Controller or Senior Staff Accounting role supporting leadership
- 2-3 strong employment references from direct supervisors Extremely strong expertise with MS Office 365 and a wide range of technology platforms, applications, and software.
- 2+ years of payroll experience
- Expert-level Excel skills
- AI experience
- QuickBooks Online proficiency
- ADP experience
- MS 365
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Professional communication skills (email, phone, internal coordination)
- High attention to detail and comfort working with sensitive information (HR/payroll/finance) Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience supporting government contract work
- Experience in the recruiting or staffing industry
