Job Description

PrideStaff is looking for a Senior Accountant for a manufacturing company in Modesto, CA. A Senior Accountant in manufacturing manages financial operations, cost accounting, and inventory valuation for production plants. Key Responsibilities Include the
Following:
Lead financial close activities, prepare journal entries, reconcile ledger and inventory sub-ledgers, and own plant P&L or balance sheet reporting Analyze purchase price, labor, overhead, yield, and process order variances Track raw materials, monitor Excess and Obsolescence reserves, and execute cost rollups and Bill of Materials updates Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Procurement teams to optimize cost efficiency and explain financial results Assist in periodic forecasting, annual budgeting, and ensuring

compliance Perform other duties as needed Qualifications Include the
Following:
Recent, relevant experience within the past 5-10 years Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and hands-on experience with major ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) Strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate complex financial data for non-financial operations leaders Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or active candidate progress Must be at least 18 years old and able to show proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening
Schedule:
Hybrid (Remote and In Office) M-F from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Pay range varies
