This role is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented accountant who can independently manage critical close activities, reconcile key accounts, and deliver meaningful financial analysis in a fast-paced SaaS environment. This is a hybrid position requiring three days onsite per week.

Responsibilities:

Oversee recurring accounting activities tied to reserves, prepaid items, and commission-related balances, ensuring entries are recorded accurately and in a timely manner. Administer commission capitalization schedules, including initial setup, ongoing amortization, and adjustments related to customer changes or terminations. Review balance sheet and income statement movements each month, investigate notable variances, and communicate the business reasons behind fluctuations. Complete month-end reconciliations for assigned accounts and perform regular cash reconciliation work to maintain the integrity of financial records. Assist with sales tax administration by supporting registration efforts, validating exemption information, and reconciling related tax activity. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. 4-5 years of progressive accounting experience, with prior exposure to SaaS environments strongly preferred. Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and practical experience applying core accounting standards in day-to-day operations. Strong hands-on background in month-end close, general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Advanced Excel capabilities and proficiency using NetSuite in an accounting setting.
