This role offers a great opportunity for an accounting professional or recent graduate to gain exposure to AR, AP, cash applications, reporting, and month-end close within a stable manufacturing environment. Why This Role? Hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 remote after training) Flexible work hours (start times between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM) Supportive, low-stress accounting team with long employee tenure Exposure to multiple areas of accounting, including AR, AP, cash applications, and month-end close Excellent opportunity for recent Accounting or Finance graduates Key Responsibilities Process cash applications, lockbox transactions, wires, and credit card payments Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions Assist with daily sales and labor reporting Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy Support month-end close activities and financial reporting Learn company systems and gradually take on additional accounting responsibilities Assist with ad hoc accounting projects and reporting requests
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Basic knowledge of accounting principles Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred:
Internship or accounting experience Experience with cash applications, AR, or AP Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and Macros Process improvement or data analysis experience EB-1632909253
