The role begins by mastering daily accounting operations and evolves into ownership of the accounting function as the Company expands into multiple entities. Position Purpose Maintain accurate financial information, strengthen accounting processes and controls, and provide timely reporting that supports sound business decisions. Key Responsibilities 1. Transactional Accounting & Business Understanding Manage invoicing, receivables, payables, reconciliations, and cash activity. Identify billing, collection, and process improvement opportunities. 2. Month-End Close & Financial Reporting Lead the monthly close process. Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports. Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews. 3. Financial Operations, Controls & Accountability Improve accounting procedures and internal controls. Partner with operating leaders through established reporting relationships. Increase the accuracy and timeliness of financial information. 4. Multi-Entity Accounting & Financial Structure Coordinate accounting with VP of Finance Support the accounting structure for growth of the company. Assist with intercompany transactions and cost allocations. 5. Financial Planning & Leadership Support Support cash flow planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Assist with CPA, banking, insurance, and external financial relationships. 6. Finance Team Development & Continuous Improvement Improve systems, workflows, reporting, and automation. Build scalable processes that reduce dependence on any one individual. First 90 Days Develop a strong understanding of ThreeSixty's business model, customers, and financial rhythm. Build trusted relationships with the team. Successfully manage day-to-day accounting operations with accuracy and consistency. Understand the monthly close process and identify opportunities to improve reporting, controls, and efficiency. Demonstrate the capability to assume increasing ownership of the accounting function. Ideal Qualifications & Experience Five or more years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, month-end close, AR, AP, reconciliations, and accrual accounting. Experience with multi-entity accounting preferred. QuickBooks proficiency and advanced Excel skills. Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial leaders.
