Location:
Hampton, NH. This is an on-site opportunity designed for collaboration and hands-on development. Once established, there may be flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days per week.
Note:
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business and at least 2 years of relevant accounting experience. Accounting degrees and public accounting experience are strongly preferred. QuickBooks proficiency is required. CPA credentials or progress toward becoming a CPA are a plus. Job Description Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations. Perform bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, account maintenance, and financial statement preparation using QuickBooks. Support tax planning and research to help clients make informed financial decisions. Assist with audit, review, and compilation engagements and related financial reporting procedures. Independently manage multiple client engagements while maintaining accurate, timely deliverables. Communicate professionally with clients and internal team members throughout engagements. Prioritize competing deadlines and maintain quality during tax season and other high-volume periods. Develop broader client-management responsibilities as your experience and capabilities grow. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business required; Accounting preferred. 2+ years of relevant accounting experience required. Public accounting experience strongly preferred. QuickBooks proficiency required. UltraTax experience preferred. Strong Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office skills. Tax preparation experience highly preferred. CPA or CPA-track candidates are a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, critical-thinking, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
