Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here Our client, a growing Tax and Accounting firm, is seeking a Tax Accountant to join its expanding team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys preparing returns, building long-term client relationships, and working in a collaborative environment—without the pressure of business development.
Tax Accountant Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive base salary ranging from $75,000 to $120,000 , depending on experience Hybrid schedule after first busy season (3 days in office, 2 days WFH) Unlimited PTO (outside of busy season)
Tax Accountant Requirements & Qualifications:
CPA license preferred, but all candidates are encouraged to apply Experience preparing individual and business tax returns Experience with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop required Experience with Lacerte required Experience with Canopy tax software is a plus Strong communication and client service skills Ability to manage multiple priorities during busy tax seasons High level of professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail
Tax Accountant Responsibilities & Duties:
Prepare and review individual and business tax returns, including: Form 1040 S Corporation returns LLC and partnership returns Limited trust returns Communicate with clients regarding tax planning and return preparation Build and maintain strong client relationships while providing outstanding service Collaborate with the firm's bookkeeping and wealth management teams to ensure a seamless client experience Identify opportunities for clients to benefit from additional financial services and make internal referrals when appropriate
