Sinel Wilfand & Vinci CPAs Inc has been providing a wide range of tax, accounting and advisory services to a diverse clientele of closely-held, emerging and family owned businesses in
RI, CT & MA
since 1982. Our firm's clients primarily include small and medium-sized businesses as well as high-income and high-net-worth individuals. Our expertise ranges from tax compliance and accounting services to financial reporting and financial consulting. Our firm is committed to delivering quality and timely client services. Candidates who hold a CPA or EA license - or are actively working towards one - are strongly preferred. This is designed to be a long-term addition to our firm. Summary of Responsibilities
  • Prepare complex individual, corporate, partnership and trust tax returns
  • Assist in developing tax planning strategies
  • Perform research on technical tax matters; review & respond to IRS & state tax notices
  • Lead engagements throughout all phases of accounting
  • Prepare compilations and reviews of financial statements
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with clients
  • Work in team environment alongside the firm's partners Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
  • Licensed Certified Public Accountant or Enrolled Agent preferred
  • 4+ years of public accounting experience with emphasis on accounting and income tax preparation
  • Strong knowledge of individual, corporate, partnership and trust taxes
  • Ability to travel to client sites
  • Ability to communicate with clients and staff in a professional manner
  • Proficiency with professional tax software; experience with CCH Axcess Suite, Prosystem fx Tax & Prosystem fx Engagement are strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office is required The ideal candidate has:

Pay:
$80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
