We are looking for an Accounting Associate to support day-to-day financial operations for an organization in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This position plays an important role in maintaining accurate records, assisting with account analysis, and helping produce timely financial information for internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing core accounting tasks in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do: Take primary responsibility for general ledgers and posting of journal entries for various entities.

Perform reconciliations of various general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and transparency.

Assist in ensuring data received from third parties is recorded correctly and accurately.

Responsible for the timely processing of payments and maintenance of accounts payable aging and ledgers for various entities.

Create quarterly loan statements.

Assist in ad hoc reporting as necessary.

Show initiative through streamlining processes and driving efficiencies within the accounting department.
