Acts as a paraprofessional to accounting and fiscal professionals by performing assigned accounting practices to assist with fundamental accounting and routine fiscal procedures. This position will assist bank reconciliations, general ledger entries, department billing along with other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), practices, and standards, analyze and interpret financial data and information and reach conclusions, establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and representatives of other agencies or departments.REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in accounting is required OR three or more years of accounting experience.PREFERRED
Higher education accounting and Banner accounting experience is preferred.COMMENTS
