High-visibility role with direct exposure to and collaboration with the CFO Strong opportunity for career growth as the company continues to expand Excellent benefits package and unique employee perks Outstanding company culture with an exceptionally low turnover rate Key Responsibilities Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including financial reporting, variance analysis, and preparation of key journal entries and accruals. Oversee accounting for real estate development and construction projects, including construction draws, invoice review, job cost tracking, and budget-to-actual analysis. Manage property tax processes, including accruals, assessment reviews, appeals coordination, and tax projections for acquisitions and development projects. Administer lease accounting functions, including lease setup, renewals, terminations, tenant billings, rent adjustments, and annual CAM reconciliations. Maintain accounts receivable records, support cash application activities, and monitor collections and write-off transactions. Partner with development, operations, and third-party stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, project budgeting, and timely funding approvals. Support annual budgeting, forecasting, system implementations, and process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting efficiency and reporting capabilities. Assist with acquisitions, financing transactions, lender reporting, and other special projects while serving as a collaborative resource across the accounting team. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field 4+ years of relevant accounting experience; commercial real estate experience is required CAM reconciliation experience required Strong understanding of property accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close processes
