General Summary:
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Staff Accountant will be able to demonstrate a high level of organizational and time management, strong problem-solving skills and reasoning as well as a high degree of attention to detail. Must be a self-starter and be able to work effectively with others.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for preparing reports monitored by executive leadership. Perform royalties report calculation. Perform account reconciliations for Balance Sheet accounts. Perform month closing journal entries. Assist in preparation of Lead Schedules for Year-End Audits Interface with all levels of organizational personnel Support with the integrations and publication of Financial Statements and Lead Schedules Monthly write-off of non-Accounts Receivables Transactions Proper coding for American Express transactions and posting of related Journal Entry Re-class incorrect coding to proper Income Statement accounts Participate in Physical Inventory counts. Support the Month-End system close. Provide Support to Stores as needed. Any other additional task requested by
Senior Management Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1-2 years of accounting experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus Excellent problem-solving skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Able to multi-task, plan and prioritize work effectively. NetSuite experience a plus
