This role combines core accounting responsibilities with growing exposure to cost accounting, inventory, manufacturing operations, MRP, and process improvement. We're looking for someone who asks good questions, follows an issue through to resolution, and doesn't wait to be told every next step. You'll work closely with finance and operations and have the opportunity to take ownership of increasingly complex accounting processes as you grow. Responsibilities Perform account reconciliations, accruals, transaction review and assigned month-end close activities. Investigate vendor credits, overpayments, invoice and PO discrepancies and other accounting issues. Support cost accounting, inventory accounting, cycle-count review and inventory adjustments. Analyze purchase-price, material-usage and other cost variances. Support the accounting side of Elevate's MRP implementation. Improve close schedules, documentation and financial controls. Work with operations to understand the business activity behind financial results. Identify process breakdowns and help develop practical solutions. Document accounting procedures and improve repeatable processes. Use ERP, MRP, reporting, automation, and AI-supported tools to improve efficiency and accuracy. We're Looking for Someone Who Has a strong accounting foundation and is ready for greater responsibility. Has exposure to cost accounting, inventory, manufacturing or operational accounting, or an interest in building deeper expertise in these areas. Is highly organized and detail-oriented. Is comfortable investigating discrepancies and working through complex information. Asks questions and seeks to understand how and why things work. Takes initiative and follows issues through to resolution. Has sound judgment about when to work independently and when to seek input. Is interested in process improvement, technology and automation. Wants to grow into broader accounting responsibility over time. What Makes This Role Different This isn't a role where you'll simply receive information and process it.
