This organization manages a large portfolio nationwide, partnering with ownership groups to drive profitability, guest experience, and operational excellence. This role will be hands-on and highly visible, with a strong focus on cleaning up and owning key reconciliations, tightening financials, and helping elevate accounting processes.💼 Key ResponsibilitiesOwn bank and balance sheet reconciliations across multiple hotel properties (including initial clean-up work)Play a critical role in the month-end close process (fast-paced, high volume)Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, reclasses, adjustments)Perform detailed P&L review and variance analysisInvestigate discrepancies and ensure accurate, clean financial reportingSupport reporting for leadership and property-level stakeholdersAssist with audit requests and maintain proper documentationIdentify and implement process improvements and efficiencies✅ What You Bring3+ years of accounting experienceHospitality / hotel industry experience requiredStrong experience with: Balance sheet reconciliations, Month-end close, P&L review & variance analysisAdvanced Excel skills (beyond pivots/VLOOKUPs) including: Macros, VBAComplex formulas & data manipulationExperience working in multiple ERP systems (Sage Intacct a plus)Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field🎯 Ideal Candidate ProfileComfortable stepping into messy or complex reconciliations and bringing clarityThrives in a multi-entity, fast-paced environmentProcess-minded with a desire to build and improve workflowsStrong attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture
