PlainsCapital Bank is seeking a Wealth Management Operations Clerk to provide basic support to the Wealth Management Operations and Wealth Management Administration departments. The support provided includes accurate and timely data entry and overall operational support to ensure that the departments meet or exceed established client service standards. In addition, assists in all areas of Wealth Management Operations as needed to maintain daily, weekly and monthly processing. High School Diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent education required. Knowledge of basic accounting practices required with a strong preference for previous experience in a bank/financial services environment. Excellent PC skills, including word processing and spreadsheets via Microsoft Office products as well as custom applications and systems, typing, and ten key by touch. Ability to read and input data accurately. Excellent analytical, time management, organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment. Must be self-motivated with strong attention to detail and accountability. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Processes daily items from checks received and processes tickets for the income desk, after ensuring that data input is accurate. Processes daily account maintenance and research items for correction, if needed. Processes account set-ups, assigns account numbers, and names and addresses record numbers. Processes daily trades, pends daily settlements, and balances fund recons. Reviews, balances and if necessary, corrects errors on daily work. Cross-trains to assist securities desk, income desk, and expense desk. Maintains and updates tickler system. Organizes, updates, and maintains archived files. Processes income maps. Assists with fee processing. Assists with account tax cross references and annual tax processing. General office duties and other duties as assigned.
