Job Duties:
This position reports directly to the Farm Manager of the Pack Unit on a daily basis. It is located in Navasota at the Pack Unit Farm Office. It is an in-person position. Duties include coordinating office accounting operations to include offender and clerical staff activities, audits financial records and periodic reports for accuracy; researches and reconciles discrepancies and errors; and prepares and enters journals in an automated financial system, reconciles credit card statements, prepares requisitions for departmental purchases, etc.

You'd be a GREAT fit if:
You graduated from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED.You have six months full-time, wage-earning customer service, clerical, accounting clerical, bookkeeping, secretarial, administrative support, or technical program support experience. Fifteen semester hours from a college or university accredited by an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education accreditation (CHEA) or by the United States Department of Education (USDE) may be substituted for each six months of experience.
You have knowledge of inventory and stock control methods and procedures.
You have knowledge of automated accounting systems.
You have knowledge of agricultural processes.
