Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and complete accounting records by recording financial transactions in the general ledger and appropriate subsidiary ledgers. Prepare and post routine and month-end journal entries, including revenue and expense accruals, reclassifications, and other adjusting entries. Perform monthly balance sheet and general ledger account reconciliations, research reconciling items, and resolve discrepancies timely. Perform bank and cash account reconciliations and ensure cash receipts, deposits, and disbursements are accurately recorded. Provide accounting support for accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including transaction review, payment processing, cash application, and follow-up on outstanding items. Assist with month-end and year-end close activities to support timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc financial reports, schedules, and analyses for management and other stakeholders. Review financial data for completeness, accuracy, appropriate coding, and adequate supporting documentation. Maintain ledgers, journals, account schedules, and other accounting records in an organized and audit-ready manner.What You Bring:
Associate Degree in Accounting, finance, or related field Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (required) Any relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably in healthcare or nonprofit sectors Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel, accounting software (MIP experience preferred), and general ledger systemsPreferred:
