I am are currently seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and motivated person with strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a time sensitive and detail-oriented environment with minimal supervision as a full-charge Bookkeeper/Individual Income Tax Preparer. The successful candidate will possess the ability to effectively interact with clients and must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate would be someone that can work about 1,800 hours per year. Here is how the year breaks down… January Monday
  • Friday 830 am to 500 pm February
  • April 15th Monday
  • Friday 830 am to 500 pm but expected to work 50-55 hours a week during tax season May
  • December Monday
  • Thursday 830 am to 500 pm and Fridays off the rest of the year. Applicants should have a minimum of 2 year experience with full charge bookkeeper, minimum 2 year experience as a tax preparer and be proficient in the following:
  • Microsoft Office, QuickBooks and familiar with tax preparation software.
  • Client communication skills for results and discrepancies
  • Review and analyze data thoroughly
  • Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual bookkeeping
  • Thorough review of documents and fees
  • Research tax law to ensure compliance
  • Preparation of quarterly and annual payroll tax reports
  • Individual Tax preparation
  • Provide support to clients during tax season and throughout the year
