Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 5+ years of progressive accounting and/or finance experience. 5+ years of hands-on general ledger accounting experience. Experience preparing and filing multi-state sales and use tax returns, including Texas and Louisiana. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Experience with Avalara tax compliance software. Experience with ERP systems, including Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and/or Dynamics 365. Experience with OneStream or similar reconciliation and close management tools. Experience researching and applying accounting regulations and guidance. Demonstrated success identifying and implementing process improvements.
