Job Description

Company Overview:
We are a leading medical billing company specializing in out-of-network billing, and denial management. Our team is growing, and we are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, organized, and a strong problem solver with a solid understanding of basic accounting principles and experience with QuickBooks Online.
Job Summary:
This position focuses on payment posting, bookkeeping, and financial record management. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, basic accounting knowledge, and experience with QuickBooks Online.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Post EFT payments from insurance carriers accurately and timely Process and record payments and correspondence received via email Post arbitration payments and refunds Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks Online Perform QuickBooks Online accounting tasks, including data entry and account management Reconcile payments, refunds, and account balances to ensure accuracy Assist with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and account tracking Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial data Identify discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED (required) Entry-level accounting experience preferred Experience with QuickBooks Online preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of accounting principles
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual in Spanish (preferred but not required) Experience in medical billing, healthcare, or revenue cycle management is a plus
