Ace Auto Utah is hiring a part-time Accountant for our Orem dealership at 1135 N State St, Orem, UT 84057. This is an in-person role expected to average approximately 20 hours per week.

ABOUT ACE AUTO UTAH

Ace Auto Utah is a used-car dealership specializing in quality pre-owned cars, trucks, SUVs, and single-owner former government fleet vehicles. We are looking for a dependable accounting professional who can keep our day-to-day financial records accurate, current, and well organized.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain accurate general-ledger records and enter transactions in QuickBooks Online. Reconcile bank, credit-card, and dealership accounts on a regular schedule. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor bills, payments, deposits, and customer balances. Reconcile vehicle purchases, auction and transportation charges, reconditioning expenses, inventory costs, and sales proceeds. Prepare routine financial reports for management, including profit-and-loss and balance-sheet reports. Assist with payroll records, sales-tax documentation, and information requested by the company's CPA or tax professionals. Maintain organized digital and paper records with appropriate confidentiality. Investigate discrepancies and communicate issues promptly to management. Support other dealership accounting and administrative tasks as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Two or more years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred. Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Solid understanding of reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general-ledger accounting. Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. Ability to work independently and meet recurring deadlines. Automotive dealership accounting experience is preferred but not required. An associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

SCHEDULE AND PAY

Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week. In-person in Orem, Utah. $18.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience. If you are accurate, reliable, and comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day accounting work in a small dealership environment, we encourage you to apply.
