Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Generalist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills, experience with various financial software, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles. As an accounting generalist for Partnership Community Health, your primarily responsible is to assure financial transactions are recorded accurately. Specific areas of responsibility are payroll, accounts payable, daily bank deposits, grant invoicing and other transactional accounting processes as deemed appropriate by the Chief Financial Officer. Qualifications Degree in Accounting or Finance, Bachelor's Degree required. Payroll experience preferred. Key Accountabilities Processes accounts payable including documentation of all invoices and coding to the general ledger account and cost center to ensure expenses are assigned correctly. Assists in the payroll process for our team of over 150 team members. Prepares daily bank deposits for Medical and Dental cash receipts to close the loop on the revenue cycle. Prepares journal entries to be reviewed by Controller to keep the general ledger up to date. Processes incoming mail, including batching checks to be posted by Accounts Receivable Specialist. Assists with annual audit as needed to provide clarity around processes. Prepares grant funding invoices to be submitted to funding sources to secure reimbursement for approved expenses. Assists in month-end close and financial statement preparation to provide timely financial metrics to PCHC leadership. Other duties as assigned. Contribute your expertise in maintaining precise financial records while supporting our mission of creating a healthier community through dedicated financial stewardship.
Pay:
$24.34 - $33.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
