Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE
KA Group is looking for a dedicated accounting professional to support accounting responsibilities within a collaborative team environment. We are seeking a talented and driven candidate who has demonstrated the ability to learn quickly, work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, and excel at multitasking. The KA Group is a global leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of pull-pan earthmoving scrapers and accessories for the construction, mining, and agricultural industries. The Company is composed of three brands, namely K-TEC, Ashland Industries, and Metalcraft, with the brands' products being differentiated by size, target markets, and the technologies offered. KA Group maintains manufacturing and warehouse facilities in Manitoba and Wisconsin. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, durable equipment that meets the unique needs of earthmoving operations, no matter the scale or complexity. The K.A. Group was acquired by Kinperium Industries in January 2022.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Review, code, and process incoming parts receivings, vendor invoices, and travel expenses. Create and submit supplier payments for approval and issue payments, including ACH and checks. Reconcile company credit card accounts to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and discrepancies are resolved. Post all credit card transactions into the accounting system in a timely and accurate manner. Maintain the company asset file spreadsheet. Set up new vendor accounts, collect required tax forms, and ensure applicable taxes are applied. Support accounts receivable by issuing customer invoices accurately and on time. Provide support during internal and external audits. Collaborate with other departments to support financial procedures and reporting needs. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet required timelines.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards, including
U.S. GAAP.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word. Experience using accounting software and ERP systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting support. Experience working with ACH payments, reconciliations, and vendor management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
