Full-Time | Direct Hire Position Overview This role will focus on cost accounting, inventory valuation, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis while partnering closely with plant leadership and operations teams to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and cost control. Key ResponsibilitiesCost Accounting & Analysis Develop and analyze standard costs for: Raw materials Direct labor Packaging Manufacturing overhead Monitor manufacturing costs and identify cost trends and opportunities for improvement. Analyze product costs and margins to support business decisions. Inventory & Financial Reporting Support inventory valuation and reconciliation. Prepare monthly cost, margin, and operational reports. Analyze inventory and manufacturing variances. Assist with month-end closing activities related to cost accounting. Operations Partnership Partner with Plant Directors and local operations teams to improve efficiency and control manufacturing costs. Provide financial insights to support operational and production decisions. Identify cost-saving opportunities and track their financial impact. Budgeting & Forecasting Assist with annual budgeting and financial forecasting. Prepare and analyze budget-versus-actual results. Investigate significant variances and communicate findings to management. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of cost accounting experience , preferably within food manufacturing or a similar manufacturing environment .
Strong understanding of:
Cost accounting Standard costing Inventory accounting Manufacturing variances Budgeting and forecasting Financial reporting Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel . Experience working with ERP systems . Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with both finance and manufacturing/operations teams.
Pay:
