Senior Accountant Wage:
Based on Experience Our Manitowoc manufacturing client is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This key role will support the Controller by overseeing general ledger activities, managing month-end close processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining strong internal controls. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting experience, exceptional analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement. - Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, account analysis, and reconciliations
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Lead month-end close activities, including consolidations and financial reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end profit and loss, balance sheet, and financial analyses
- Analyze operating and financial results and prepare reports
- Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts
- Ensure compliance with revenue recognition requirements and manage deferred revenue accounts
- Coordinate and support audit activities
- Establish, maintain, and improve internal controls and accounting processes
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, improve efficiency, and support special projects as assigned Requirements for
Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of progressive accountant experience
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines
