Sr. Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a team in Oshkosh, WI. In this position, you will play a key role managing core accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities:

Prepare and review journal entries for various account types such as cash, prepaids, fixed assets, and inventory, maintaining timeliness and precision.

Manage daily bank reconciliations and promptly resolve any outstanding transactions to assist with an efficient month-end close process.

Track and record inventory activities, including adjustments for physical counts, price changes, and product updates.

Oversee fixed asset management, including processing additions, disposals, and depreciation calculations across relevant entities.

Coordinate intercompany and intracompany transactions, performing reconciliations and communicating necessary charges.

Complete and review balance sheet reconciliations, addressing discrepancies as needed.

Support all general ledger functions and month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance with internal policies and external accounting standards.

Recommend improvements to financial reporting practices and accounting processes to drive operational efficiency.
