00/hour We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization in Milwaukee, WI to hire a detail-oriented Staff Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working across operations, finance, and shared services while contributing to accurate financial reporting and process improvement. Accountant Responsibilities:

• Assisting with monthly financial close and preparing reports in accordance with GAAP
• Participating in AR review meetings and supporting collections activity
• Coordinating with shared services to ensure accuracy in accounts payable
• Researching and resolving customer discrepancies
• Preparing daily, weekly and monthly management reports
• Assisting with inventory tracking, reconciliation and annual physical counts
• Maintaining accurate general ledger records and processing journal entries
• Supporting reconciliation of asset and liability accounts
• Preparing audit documentation for internal and external auditors
• Assisting with fixed asset tracking, depreciation schedules, and cycle counts
• Identifying and contributing to process improvements
• Providing on-site operational accounting support as needed
• Participating in special projects assigned by Finance leadership Requirements for

Accountant:

• 1-3+ years of progressive accounting experience (manufacturing experience preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of general ledger functions, AR, inventory accounting and financial reporting
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Professionalism, integrity, and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
