Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to support core accounting operations and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting for the Waukesha, Wisconsin office. This position plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, overseeing close activities, and ensuring account balances are properly reconciled. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and a hands-on approach to both daily accounting tasks and month-end responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities across general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
  • Prepare monthly and periodic financial statements and help ensure reporting is completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Lead month-end close tasks, including reviewing balances, recording adjustments, and finalizing supporting documentation.
  • Create and post journal entries to reflect routine and non-routine business transactions.
  • Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Complete bank reconciliations and resolve outstanding items in a timely manner.
  • Partner with operational teams to support accounting processes and improve financial visibility across the business.
