We're seeking a Senior Accountant to support financial operations, manufacturing cost accounting, and business analysis. This role works closely with leadership, production, project management, purchasing, and HR to ensure accurate financial reporting and provide insights that help drive business decisions. What You'll Do Financial Accounting & Reporting Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes Maintain accurate general ledger records Assist with preparation of financial statements and internal reporting Research and resolve accounting discrepancies Manufacturing & Cost Accounting Analyze labor, material, subcontracting, and overhead costs across projects Support job costing, profitability reporting, and margin analysis Review Bills of Materials, work orders, and production data for accuracy Assist with inventory accounting, cycle counts, and variance analysis Provide financial data to support estimating, pricing, and operational decisions Payroll, Tax & Compliance Support payroll processing and year-end reporting, including W-2s and 1099s Assist with payroll tax filings and regulatory reporting Support sales tax, use tax, and other state and local filings Maintain documentation for audits and compliance requirements Business Partnership Collaborate with production, purchasing, HR, and project management teams Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and internal controls Provide financial insights to support business growth and decision-making
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 3+ years of accounting experience Manufacturing, construction, or job-cost accounting experience preferred Knowledge of inventory accounting and cost accounting principles Experience supporting payroll and regulatory reporting Strong Excel and accounting software skills Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently Strong communication skills and attention to detail Why Join Endres Manufacturing?
