About the role:
As an Accounting Intern, you will be involved in supporting the North American Accounting operations of our Global Company. There will be opportunities to work on different projects in accounting including Financial Reporting, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable and Cost Analysis.
Your Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Intern, you will be involved in supporting the North American Accounting operations of our Global Company. There will be opportunities to work on different projects in accounting including Financial Reporting, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable and Cost Analysis. Adhere to all company policies and procedures including IATF16949, J-Sox and
ISO14000
as applicable.
Who we are looking for:
Must be enrolled in a Bachelor of Business (BBA) program or higher, majoring in accounting Prefer candidates that have achieved Junior or Senior Status Solid oral and written communications skills are essential, as well as solid math skills Requires excellent computer skills coupled with proficiency in the use of MS Excel, Word and Outlook Must be detail oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong analytical skill and accuracy with numbers Possess a strong interest in the automotive industry
Physical Requirements:
Ability to operate a keyboard Ability to see and hear (correctable) Ability to communicate verbally Ability to drive a vehicle Ability to accommodate occasional travel
