Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field required Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Administrative Assistant to support a short-term data migration and accounting cleanup project. This role will assist with reviewing, organizing, validating, and cleaning accounting data to ensure accuracy and completeness during the migration process. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, solid Excel skills, and the ability to work with sensitive and confidential financial documents. This position will work closely with the Accounting and IT teams and is fully onsite in Irvine. Key Responsibilities Assist with accounting data cleanup and preparation for a system/data migration. Review, organize, validate, and update financial and accounting records. Identify discrepancies, missing information, duplicate records, and data inconsistencies. Assist with transferring and maintaining accurate data between systems. Work closely with the IT team to troubleshoot data-related issues and support the migration process. Handle sensitive and confidential financial documents and information with discretion. Utilize Excel to organize, filter, sort, reconcile, and analyze data. Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of data cleanup activities. Perform general accounting and administrative support as needed. Follow established procedures to ensure data accuracy and confidentiality. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field required. Previous accounting, finance, data entry, or administrative experience preferred. Strong Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, formulas, and working with large amounts of data. Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills. Comfortable working with sensitive and confidential information. Ability to work collaboratively with both Accounting and IT teams. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work fully onsite in Irvine, CA for the duration of the contract. Pay Details:
