Pacific Staffing is partnering with our client to identify a Divisional Controller who will lead day-to-day accounting operations and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting in a high-expectation, operations-driven environment. This role is ideal for a disciplined, detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a hands-on role, maintains strict process adherence, and collaborates closely with project managers and operational leadership. The Divisional Controller will oversee AP, AR, month-end close, revenue-recognition support, billing compliance, and financial reporting while reinforcing accounting standards across the business. We're seeking a responsive, organized, and reliable individual who excels in fast-paced settings and brings strong communication skills, GAAP expertise, WIP accounting experience, and a continuous-improvement mindset — along with a proven background in financial accounting and reporting. Salary:
$140K-$175K/Year (DOE).100% onsite located in Sacramento, CA. Responsibilities Manage AP, AR, and full-cycle accounting for a single-entity operation.

Lead month-end close and deliver accurate financial statements.

Ensure compliance with union billing, AIA billing, and construction/field-service accounting standards.

Partner with project managers on revenue recognition, billing, and WIP costing.

Serve as the finance point of contact for operations leadership.

Maintain disciplined accounting processes and resolve deviations.

Support process improvements and system enhancements. Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.5-7 years of accounting experience in an operational business environment.

Experience with AP, AR, and full-cycle accounting required.

Union billing, AIA billing, or construction accounting experience a plus.

Strong communication, organization, responsiveness, and follow-through.

Solid understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles.

Comfortable in a hands-on role focused on execution and accuracy.
