Job Description

: To manage and oversee the accounting and financial operations of a Door and Millwork Company that provides products for commercial and residential contractors and end users. To provide office management for a diverse firm that manufactures, furnishes and installs doors, millwork, and garage doors. Preparing for all reports, including P&L, Balance Sheet, reviewing internal systems and ensuring compliance with company policy and tax laws. Responsible for the accounting actions of the company to ensure both efficient and ethical processes. Track and report to CEO sales, expenses, cogs and income. Work closely with the owner and other management personnel in regards to all financial matters. Process and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable for timely payment of A/P and collection of A/R. Prepare for the monthly financial statements, review variance reports for vendor invoices, maintain general ledger, job costing, maintain employee records, support processing payroll, schedule and pay sales tax, reconciliation of accounts and records and perform all weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly accounting / bookkeeping functions. Maintains a chart of accounts and general ledger, from which are compiled a set of financial statements. Assist both internal and external auditors with their examinations of the company's financial reports and controls. Review contracts and maintain change orders and correct contract balances.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
