Job Description

I. Job Summary Supervises aspects of the accounting department and coordinates the implementation of accounting controls. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

+ Supervises monthly close activities. Prepares or oversees preparation of income and balance sheet statements, consolidated statements and various other accounting statements and reports.

+ Organizes and schedules all necessary resources required to accomplish activities.

+ Analyzes and reconciles financial information and general ledger accounts and other reports.

+ Prepares and analyzes forecasts and projections.

+ Provides financial support to district managers and maintenance managers.

+ Trains, conducts evaluations, and manages productivity of employees.

+ Approves AP invoices and P-card transactions.

+ Reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records. III. Qualifications A. Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, in Accounting, Business Administration or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree

+ High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four years of relevant work experience. + 5 years of previous experience (in addition to education requirement) B. Preferred Qualifications IV.
