Type:

full-time Accounting Supervisor Our client is seeking an experienced, hands-on Accounting Supervisor to oversee accounting operations and lead a team of 3 accounting professionals. This individual will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing the month-end close process, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 3 accounting professionals, providing day-to-day direction and support Oversee and participate in general ledger activities, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and prepaid expenses Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of financial results Review account reconciliations and financial data to identify discrepancies and ensure proper reporting Assist with preparation of financial statements, reporting packages, and analysis for leadership Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures Partner with internal departments to resolve accounting issues and improve processes Support audits and provide documentation as needed Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the accounting function

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Prior supervisory experience managing or leading a team (3 direct reports preferred) Strong knowledge of GAAP, reconciliations, accrual accounting, and month-end close Ability to analyze financial data and resolve accounting issues independently Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Experience with ERP/accounting systems and
