Director of Accounts Payable On‑Site | Montebello, CA $130,000 - $150,000 per year Join a team that feels like family—and keep the financial engine running smoothly. NewGen Administrative Services partners with skilled nursing facilities to deliver compassionate, person‑centered care. We're looking for a hands‑on Director of Accounts Payable to lead a team of 10-15, drive timely and accurate payments, and bring order and efficiency to a critical function that supports our communities. What you'll do: Lead, train, and manage a team of 10-15 AP staff, balancing workloads and developing talent Own the full AP cycle: ensure timely vendor payments, expense report processing, and accurate record‑keeping Maintain a comprehensive disbursement calendar, review AP registers, and drive monthly reconciliations Oversee 1099 filings, credit card payment processing, and petty cash management Spearhead AP process improvements and lead the department through an ERP conversion Partner with the Controller on reporting, analysis, and smooth onboarding of newly acquired entities What you bring: Must have: Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field Must have: Minimum 5 years of experience in AP management, including leading teams Must have: Strong command of full‑cycle accounts payable and proven ability to meet tight deadlines Must have: High level of confidentiality, organizational skill, and a continuous improvement mindset Nice to have: Finance experience in a long‑term care or skilled nursing environment Who we are.
