We're seeking a collaborative leader with construction accounting expertise and excellent communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about operational excellence.
Target Hourly Compensation:
$35 - $37/hour+ depending on experience
Accounts Payable Supervisor Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a high-performing Accounts Payable team responsible for efficient invoice processing, payment management, and delivering exceptional service
  • Train all new department employees
  • Verify amounts against purchase orders or other documents, enters invoice details into payables systems, and creates checks or other payments
  • Research discrepancies or missing payments
  • Work closely with all levels of accounting & operations
  • Perform full-cycle accounts payable processing in high volume environment and handles all 2 and 3-way matching
  • Select invoices for payment on a weekly basis based on payment terms
  • Strong understanding of the Chart of Accounts to ensure invoices are coded to correct G/L accounts
  • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and route for approval prior to payment
  • Verify new vendor information including W-9 and 1099 reporting information are accurate and up to date in the system. Work with Tax department to handle year end 1099 filings.
  • Track vendor credits and applies correctly to vendor amounts due
  • Responsible for month end close responsibilities including reconciling Accounts Payable in General ledger, Journal Entries, verifying vendor statements, and accruing unprocessed invoices
  • Make recommendations to the Management team, where necessary
  • Work with others in the organization to improve processes
Accounts Payable Supervisor Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Construction industry experience required 5+ years in Accounting & Accounts Payable with full understanding of General Ledger & financials for job costing Proficiency in ERP systems related to the construction industry. Acumatica experience is a plus Strong skillset with Microsoft Excel & Office Suite Acumatica experience is a plus Work Environment This position does have occasional travel for training or meetings.
