The ideal candidate will have an accounting degree, prior leadership experience, and a deep understanding of high-volume receivables, chargebacks, deductions, compliance requirements, and vendor portals. This role plays a critical part in maintaining cash flow, retailer compliance, and financial accuracy. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily accounts receivable operations Manage billing, invoicing, collections, and retailer deductions Handle chargebacks, short pays, compliance violations, and disputes Monitor aging reports and proactively reduce DSO Reconcile complex retailer accounts and resolve discrepancies Manage retailer portals (e.g., vendor compliance systems) Supervise AR staff and provide leadership and training Review and approve credit limits and customer terms Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Logistics teams Ensure compliance with retailer requirements and internal controls Prepare monthly AR reports and cash flow projections Assist with audits and financial reporting Identify and implement process improvements Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (required) 3+ years of Accounts Receivable experience Experience working with large national or big box retailers (required) Experience managing retailer deductions, chargebacks, and compliance claims 1-3 years of supervisory or management experience preferred Strong understanding of GAAP principles ERP experience (NetSuite experience is a plus) Advanced Excel skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and leadership skills Detail-oriented and highly organized
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$65,000 - $75,000 per year (based on experience) Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance after 90 days of employment 401(k) Plan eligibility after 1 year of employment Paid Time Off Professional growth opportunities
