Job Description

Title of Position:
Accounts Receivable Manager Our Mission:
To provide high-quality, plumbing and heating services that exceed our customers' expectations. We have registered our stamp of class by executing various prestigious projects in varied domains, such as Commercial, Industrial, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Educational, Municipal, and Residential venues across all of Southern Illinois.

Essential Functions:
General responsibility for the Service & Service Agreements, Invoicing / Accounts Receivable Generate invoices for services rendered Reconcile Monthly Collection Statements Submission of customer proposals for potential future work / scheduling Monitor all unbilled time and expenses and maintain backlog to not exceed two payrolls at ALL times Answer phones, prepare work orders, take messages, follow-thru on all communications regarding customers and transactions with company Origination, management, update, and maintenance of all Third Party Agreements Receive payments and post to correct invoices / customer's accounts Perform basic collection activities to prevent delinquent accounts Communicate with vendors on account activity and inquiries, returns, special order items, etc...as needed to facilitate future installation Maintain accurate customer and vendor records Handle inquires and incoming work and purchase orders Perform other tasks as assigned Characteristics & Abilities vital to this position: Self-starter with strong work ethic High level of integrity and maturity Maintains a positive attitude that inspires others Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines Leadership qualities Ability to work hours as required Personable team player Accurate and focused attention to detail Growth oriented with constant improvement mentality Organized, ability to handle multiple tasks at all times Good listener with excellent verbal & written communication skills Proficiency in accounting software, Excel, and Word Accounting experience and working knowledge of accounts payables/receivables Construction experience is preferred

$52,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
