Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of accounts payable/accounting professional experience in a healthcare environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and database functions Strong working knowledge of accounting systems, including BILL and Sage Intacct Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Previous staff management and team leadership experience Responsibilities Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, coding, approvals, and payments Manage and mentor accounts payable staff, including hiring, training, and performance reviews Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices and employee reimbursements Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and vendor inquiries Maintain vendor records, W-9 documentation, and 1099 reporting compliance Support external and internal audits by providing required documentation and explanations Manage relationships with vendors and negotiate payment terms when appropriate Make a difference in the lives of others — and your own — with The Carpenter Health Network.
